I believe that a "Situations Mode' is a fantastic idea because it would challenge current players. A 'Situations Mode' will not draw new fans to the title, but it will satisfy the needs of a grumpy fanbase. The majority of NBA 2K fans are unhappy with the lack of innovation. A new, challenging mode is sure to keep the existing fanbase interested.
Mamba Moments – The tragic passing of Kobe Bryant is shocking and deeply sad. The tragedy was in every way. Kobe is expected to be present in NBA 2K21 in a way. I'm a fan of the concept of game mode, where you are required to recreate Bryant's most memorable moments on the court. It would be an appropriate tribute to Bryant who was invited to go through Bryant's most memorable moments as well as get to know his background. NBA 2K has previously had the 'Moments' mode, which featured Shaquille O'Neal as well as Michael Jordan. It's time Kobe receives the same treatment.
The Rebalance Archetype Systems - I was fascinated by the archetype game system when it first came out. This would allow for more distinct builds, and reduce the chance of the game becoming unstable because of the overpowering MyPlayers. In the theory of things it was an ideal solution to an issue that has been lingering within the community.
However, the archetype system has failed to accomplish its primary purpose. It's not yet fully balanced and I'm convinced that there are more powerful and powerful builds than there ever was. 2K is unable to effectively deal with each build's weaknesses and strengths. This is the major issue. A center who is 7 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds should be unable to compete with a guard on the court during the transition.
Point guards have had a difficult time proving themselves to make active builds in the past two years. There is no apparent advantage to playing point guard; the increased speed is insignificant considering the benefits of the Point Forward construction are considered.
