Jay Cutler is reportedly targeting a Week 14 return from his ankle injury. However, his status for next Monday isn't known until later this week. Bears director of football Marc Trestman said Cutler remains "week-to-week."
The Bears are expected to return to training on Thursday and Cutler's participation degree could go a long way to determining his status against Dallas. If he's in a position to participate in a moderate manner Cutler could be on track to return on Monday. Should he not be able to, the result may happen that it's Josh McCown getting another start for the Bears.
McCown has been a good player for Chicago however, the absence of Cutler is felt on the scoreboard. It is estimated that the Bears have an average score of 29 per game in games Cutler starts and 22.8 PPG in games started by McCown.
New footage illustrates Mike Tomlin taking a step towards the sideline
Mike Tomlin has been the subject of controversy for allegedly playing a role in a Baltimore kick return last week. Tomlin said he was looking at the game on the jumbotron and did not be aware of where he was in the field. New video, however, seems to show Tomlin taking a step towards the field, prompting Jones to turn.
